THE PORT HOUSE
DUBLIN & LONDON
Opened first in 2006 we realised we had something special in our little cave on South William Street in Dublin 2! Twelve months later, we opened another little cave in Temple Bar and our third in a cottage in Dundrum Town’s Centre’s Pembrook District.



After three successful restaurants and seven years of hard work and saving our pocket money, we decided we were grown up enough to hit London in search of fame and fortune down the West End of Covent Garden, where we hope to get a small bit part alongside Jude Law!



In 2019, we were delighted to announce that we opened our fifth location in Camden Street, Dublin 2. Which is an incredibly diverse area that gives us the opportunity to present our tapas, ports and wines with a focus on Cava that does not receive the attention it deserves.

    We’ve been here so many times and it’s always just great 😊 Small, tasty dishes with so much to choose from. We sat in the terrace as we find it quieter and brighter. Staff are always so pleasant and smiley 😃

    Food has disimproved a lot, waitress didnt care that we didnt like one of the dishes, all dishes have increased in price making it pricey and substandard, wont be back

    The service was really bad start to finish. Ordered our food and only one plate came out to start when we ordered two of the same dish. Then the server dumped the rest of the food on the table and I had to call him back to ask where our missing dish was and he never returned to us with the missing dish. Our first drinks were gone and sat there empty until I had to stop a member of staff and ask for another. We waited at least 15 minutes for our drinks and had to stop a member of staff to ask where they where. Our empty dishes were left on our table for ages until someone bothered to clear them. At no time did the waitress ask us if our food was ok, if we would like another drink or a desert menu. We felt completely invisible to the staff members. The only fast thing was the bill to our table .. less than one minute from requesting same. Very disappointed Mothers day dinner, unlikely to return again

    Always lovely venue, goats cheese salad lovely, but issue with chicken skewer on the night which was disappointing as usually nice.

    Lovely experience, nice atmosphere and staff.. food was very tasty and good value for money.. however we received half of our order and it was over 40 mins later before the next 3 dishes came out

    Food, as always , was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. We were in the covered part of the restaurant which is not quite as nice as the main part, but its only a very minor, minor thing. We love coming here and the food is always amazing.
