   Having eaten here before several years ago, we returned with a friend from out-of-town and were hugely disappointed. Service was fine at first but then there was a staff turnover and we were ignored. But worse than that, the £20 pork chop the waiter strongly recommended was small, tough and 1/3 fat and came with a few kernels of corn and shredded pineapple. Rip off.

   Nice pub. Food was ok but overpriced for what it is. Waiter looked like he was going to kill himself. No smile, didn't looked at us one time in the eyes and managed to take my order wrong while we were the only person consuming food in the pub? We had a free beer to apologise but I won't go again...

   We had a table booked for 10 and although the first impression was fantastic as the restaurant on the first floor of this pub was amazing the service was very poor. We were served by the manager as they seemed to be really short od staff. we've ordered our food which arrived on time , and then the service when bad , we were ignored for over an hour , we've waited almost an hour for a drinks, then another 40 minutes for desert menu, we've decided to move to an other place. manager apologised for the service and we were not charged for the service , but this was me taking my team out for a dinner - x mass celebration, I've spend over 300£ for this night out, it was not worth it. food was good, Venison was burned - chalk grilled - outside and row inside ... stake was great

   Food was good but the waiter could not get our orders right and kept leaving the table without asking if we needed anything so that twice we had to get up and find him to ask for obvious things including milk with the tea. He never bought 2 of our ordered drinks to us and charged extra for toast that was supposed to come with the meal. They charged 12.5% service for what was arguably the worst service I have ever seen.

   We waited 1 hour for food when almost empty. Steak tough, £20 for a lobster sandwich with tiny fish and only pink sauce, dreadful, Fries full on cooking oil. I mean not asking more than normal pub food. We advised the waiter after dinner about the bad experience, he thank us for the feedback.... seemed like he knew. Quite bad dinner, not recommended

    Food came very slowly and all out at different times. waitress was confused about three different menus, unable to advise and service was incredibly slow.
