   This was a delightful evening. The service was warm and attentive, the food delicious, we'll-presented and plentiful, the wine a good imaginative selection and the ambience cosy. Several of my fellow diners were clearly regulars, which is always a good sign. I'll know where to come next time I'm in Christchurch.

   The servers could not have been more welcoming , attentive and helpful . The food was from a new menu and different to that advertised on the web site . It is intimate but very noisy on our visit .

   Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here while visiting the area. My wife had the camembert, coq au vin then the apple and cinnamon crumble which were all fabulous. My mushrooms on bruschetta, Sirloin steak and espresso ice cream were all prepared perfectly and were delicious. The portion sizes were generous. All our hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive and the atmosphere in the upstairs room was lovely and relaxing.

   Really liked the vibe of this French feeling bar/restaurant. Decor makes it feel like you've walked into a bistro in Paris but all the staff were very British. Service was excellent - attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We were seated in the main part of the restaurant which also doubles as a small bar. A few locals were enjoying a glass of wine and a chat next to us and gave it a warm and welcoming feel. Food was excellent. I had the special Steak and Ale pie and it was very very good. Large portions left us unable to try the desserts so felt like decent value for money. Its set just next to the famous Priory (church) in Christchurch at the very end of the High Street so a little tucked away but well worth finding. Would certainly go again.
