   As always, excellent food (chicken liver parfait starter and sirloin of beef main), prompt yet discreet service and relaxed atmosphere. The beef was so tender that teeth were not required. Have enjoyed many meals here and hopefully many more in future. Perfect Sunday lunch.

   Go to Queens several times a year including for our Christmas work party. The food is always lovely. On the recent visit, the service was not great. One of the waitresses kept huffing as she walked away from our table. The same waitresses was asked twice for a straw which never appeared and eventually a male server was asked and he brought it straight away. Two hours after we arrived, the same waitresses rudely told us that we had to vacate the table even though we hadn't all finished our puddings. I appreciate that the table is needed after two hours but don't offer the desert menu if there isn't enough time to bring it out and allow us time to eat it. There was a fly in one of the meals but we believe this may have flown in from the open window. Queens did take that meal of the bill for us and that appreciated. A bit disappointed about the customer service as I had recommended the restaurant and family have said that although food was nice they would not come back again.

   Lovely venue. Food was good, but the waiters could do with brushing up on the menu as when asked what some of the meals came with, ie. veg, they didn’t know. Some blinds fitted to the large patio doors would good for guests when the sun is setting Need to replace some locks in the toilets, both male and female. But overall a nice place to visit and would come back.

   Food was great, as always. The normally excellent service was below par though. After taking our order and delivering the food and drinks to the table we were not checked on again until we had finished our meals. Not asked if we wanted more drinks or how the food was. We asked for, and got, the dessert menu. We then sat for approximately 15-20 before I had to go and find someone to ask if we could order dessert. I then had to find someone so I could pay the bill It was as if the staff forgot they had customers in the room that they sat us in. We are fairly regularly here and this is not the level of service we have come to expect.

   One of the few places to offer a genuine vegetarian option (vegan seems to have replaced vegetarian in so many menus!). Meat eaters in our party were well accomodated for too. Portions sizes were ample and value for money. Service was pleasant and welcoming. It was busy with a wedding as well, so booking is advised and carpark was pretty full on arrival. Could be down to the wedding party though.

   Disappointed with one of my guests birthday meal as it had to be returned due to a human hair found in the mashed potatoes, the meal was replaced but the accompanying vegetables where delivered sometime after which was really unacceptable as myself and other guest would have liked to eat at the same time

    First time at Queens as I've been wanting to visit for quite some time. Nice setting/Very friendly barmaid/ Food: starter and main lovely until..... I asked for dessert if I could have a scoop of icecream on my waffle instead of whipped cream (which the waitress said yes no problem), it came and tasted lovely until I came across a sharp piece of plastic between my icecream and waffle (nearly the length of my little finger) in my mouth. I let the waitress know and she apologised and said I'll go speak to someone, next she's walked past me and started cleaning a table behind and walks past me quickly (like she's trying to avoid me)... I never shouted or showed anger towards them, just brought it to their attention as it was dangerous especially if a child had eaten it. Anyway another waitress came with the bill and I could see no deduction made (I assumed a gesture of goodwill might of happened) so I told this waitress and she seem to storm off come back and had deducted the dessert and then stormed back off very quickly. At the end of the day accidents happen but I assumed a gesture of good will and a nicer attitude for something that wasn't my fault. Otherwise it was lovely there just didn't expect that response for something I needed to bring to there attention.
