   The food and service was great. I took a date her for our anniversary and I was expecting a great experience however, the food and beverages took way too long to arrive my date ordered a alcoholic drink and myself a coffee, her drink arrived and I had to ask for my coffee 2 times before it arrived. The appetizers took at least 25 minutes to arrive we order mussels and a salad. To add more insult to injury our main course was so late that the server had to bring us another dish to make sure we would not complain more. It took over 1 hour and 15 minutes for our main course to arrive. I could understand if they were busy but the restaurant was not even 25 percent full.

   Service is fantastic. The appetizers were ok. BUT All the sauces on the main entrees/dishes that we ordered was tooooo sweet. We ordered 3 different dishes and they're all sweet (too much !) overlooked shrimp The dessert special is banana pudding. Not!! It's sliced bananas sprinkled with brown sugar on the side with vanilla pudding in the middle. Not good. Thumbs down on food quality. Thumbs up on service provided.

   The food was fantastic. Service was great. We were seated right away and attended to promptly by all staff especially our server Kane who was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We will definetly be coming back!

   My dining experience here was not bad, but I was also not very impressed. Average and mediocre would probably be the two best words I can think of. The service was good - our waitress was very friendly. Waited a very long time for a bottle of wine but besides that the service was on point. The Apple Salad was delicious. I loved the acid level as well as the perfect amount of cheese and nuts. It was a very well balanced dish. The Mussels Verde had a serious lack of harmony. The mussels were good and so was the sauce, but together they really just didn't make sense. The Duck entree was decent. It was cooked perfectly but lacking flavor and excitement. I enjoyed it but it was nothing special. The Scallops were very disappointing. They were bland and overcooked. It was also another confusing dish - lack of harmony. Overall a decent experience. I'm glad I came in and tried it out - it was worth it for a one time deal - but it's unlikely that I would return.

   Rail House's special prix fixe dinner was unique, with tastes pairing that surprised and delighted. The staff was, as always, welcoming and knowledgeable, and the entire experience made the day truly memorable!

   Had pre fixe 4 course dinner. Four of us each had good dinner with entrees covering: Wild Boar, Scallops wrapped in bacon, 2 way Duck, and Short Ribs.. Everyone happy and enthusiasic. Kudos again to Bobbi, Kane and of course Chef.

    Parking: on street and parking garage on the next street. We went on the Friday - Valentine's Day weekend. Felt like stepping into a cozy home dinning room. It was a slow night - only 2-3 other couples in the restaurant. Their beer list is okay - my bf had river horse ipa. I had the Italian lemon drop martini and was delicious! We started with the pan seared short rib which came with 3. I had the pan seared salmon - the coconut sauce was not overtaking but did not find any pomegranate. My bf had the stuffed French chicken- very moist and he raved about the horseradish mashed potatoes. (Total meal was about $70 + tip) Overall I had no complaints on anything. Our server was nice and attentive and food was delicious. I am definitely coming back and recommending it to family and friends!
