The Ranch Saloon + Steakhouse, a Berg Hospitality Group concept that originally debuted in 2022, is returning to the 2025 RODEOHOUSTON® BIGGER & BETTER! Join us on Tuesday, March 4th - Sunday, March 23rd and enjoy our new and improved layout featuring 2 unique dining experiences: fine dining in the Steakhouse or upscale, casual dining in the Saloon! Or saddle up at one of our 2 full bars or patio! The Saloon is a first come, first served dining experience featuring a large main bar with nightly DJs and live music on Saturdays and Sundays, along with the Porch, a covered outdoor patio with cocktail tables. The Steakhouse is the fine dining side where guests can reserve tables in advance. Guests can enjoy “The Ranch After Dark”, an elevated nightlife experience where each night, guests can reserve lounge tables by the live music stage from 10pm-close and have the option to order a la carte drinks or bottle service with a $500 minimum per table.

    Get an earlier reservation for a steakhouse ambience. Towards 8pm- gets a club vibe with loud DJ. Service was lacking this year- got very popular and almost felt like they can't keep up. Bartenders are fantastic and on it!

    Perfect way to end your night at the Houston Rodeo! The food was amazing just like at their normal restaurant. The tent was amazing and decorated to the “T!”

    The staff was really good although one waiter didn’t understand English .. they are now a resturant that just tries to serves masses of people and make as much money as possible

    Steaks were cooked to perfection. Sides were really good as well. 3 old fashions were ordered and they came in plastic cups like the outside bar with no garnishes which was odd. Mentioned to waiter and he brought them to the table. Also had to ask another server for steak knives that were never given to us. Otherwise the food made up for the server missteps.

    Really cool but a little expensive. The brought all of our courses at one time so we kinda had to rush through the salad so our steak didn’t get cold.

    Very good! The food was outstanding and service with Ezra was great! The margaritas are excellent. Noise is a little loud…. It felt like I was hearing carnival music through the walls. Perhaps, logically, it was just that!

    Be aware, there is a 23%gratuity charge added to the end of your bill!!! It was just the two of us. Next, ordered the Kobe strip and filet mignon steak with sides. Food is very bland and WAY overpriced. Expensive! Steak tasted like pork fat with a ton of butter or grease. As far as the ambiance, very crowded with people and waitstaff, loud and hot! Seems like they tried cramming as many tables in there as possible for people to make money. Very overwhelming. Really disappointed because we had high expectations and wanted a great experience.

    So glad I was able to make reservations and spend time at this restaurant. Our waitress was great and she recommended the bacon as the appetizer. She was spot on it was fabulous. Hope to visit again soon during rodeo.
