   It’s just a great place. Bartenders were fantastic, managers are consistent and friendly and the quality of food and beverage is fantastic. It’s our go to for a great cocktail and shareable bites.

   Steaks were great! Our Old-Fashions were fabulous! And Kaitlin, our server, did an outstanding job! She was attentive but not hovering, and very well versed in the menu and recommendations. She gets 10 stars in our book!

   We had Excellent Service & friendly Management in addition to the appreciated comfortable ambience of The Refuge. Unfortunately, my "12 Hour Short Rib" was not cooked enough, tough, flavorless, and had very little edible meat. I've had this dish before & it was fall off the bone & tasty. All our other food & drinks were great.

   What a great night of steaks & bourbon. From the front of the house, to the floor, to the kitchen there was great service. We never felt rushed. We had a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The appetizers and main courses were properly cooked, and tasted great. Just an overall great night. Make sure you try the house made whiskies.

Our server also recommended a special staff-made soup, which turned out to be a delightful surprise—rich, comforting, and full of depth. To top it all off, the cocktails were expertly crafted, providing the perfect finishing touch to our meal.
