   Fantastic food but quite small portions. Very understaffed but the crew that was there was working hard to make up for it. Braised short ribs were excellent. But very small portion size. Burnt flan was tasty but had the consistency of tapioca not flan.

   Some of the best scallops and ceviche I’ve ever had! It was my boyfriend’s birthday and the bar tender made a custom birthday drink! Cam was an awesome server! Definitely will be a “regular” at The Regular!

   Such a great spot! Amazing service, drinks, and food. Does have that fine dining price $$$ but certainly very much worth it. Definitely an upcoming spot with a bright future ahead! Looking forward to coming back and trying more.

   2 nd time there at the Regular and again it was exceptional. Hats off to CHEF BRIAN DE SOUZA! There definitely will be a 3rd and 4th visit in the near future. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

   This gem has been getting a lot of great reviews lately, and I have to concur. The hostess (who happens to run the restaurant with her husband) started off the evening with a friendly, informed and fun vibe. We ordered the ceviche, fabulous tang and spice; the corn on the husk - which is off the cob, thankfully, and cooked two different ways. We followed that with 4 oysters which were fresh and interesting to look at with 3 different colors of oil added on top, followed by the steak frites with 3 different dipping sauces for the fries (or the steak!) and served with a lovely caesar salad, and the kanpachi which was the largest portion of fish filet we've ever been served. Everything was delicious to eat and a treat for the eyes. One of us had the Liquid Black Gold drink - loved it! They were out of the Norma Jeanne and will be removing it from the menu, but not a big deal, there are plenty of beverage choices. It's a beautiful dining room, and surprisingly quiet! We will definitely be back!

   Ceviche was so hot that no human could have possibly being able to eat it without catching on fire. The also add 20% service charge to the bill….which is very inappropriate

   Truly a dining experience. The menu is full of options that you cannot get elsewhere in Denver. The flavors and presentations were out of this world.

   Super cute place, but we had to wait fifteen minutes for our reservation. Then waited 30 minutes before we got our first drink because they forgot it. Then everything we ordered they were out of. Then they forgot one of the items we did order…and we were sitting there for over an hour before any food came out. The waitress was an angel, and the vibe is great…they just need to focus on the actual food and drink part.

    I dined at The Regular for my birthday with a group of girlfriends. We were about 8 people in total and were sat in a back room mostly to ourselves. We were very disappointed with our experience and I will have to say this was the worst treatment and service I have ever received at a restaurant. Food took over 3 hours to be served to the table. We had reservation at 7:00 pm. and didn’t get appetizers until well past 9:30 pm. We even ordered within 15 minutes of sitting down. It took us almost an hour to get our first round of drinks and somehow they were out of a cocktail because they didn’t have the liquor they use for the drink? They also were out of a lot of main dishes such as their ceviche, steak frites, oysters and a couple others that they are supposed to be known for. When I mentioned the horrible service and the fact that my group was starving since we still hadn’t eaten anything, the GM mentioned they would comp our first round of cocktails and send over a champagne toast with my birthday cake along with provide me with a gift card to come dine again for a better experience. The only thing that they went through with was our first round of comped drinks. We never received the champagne toast or even the gift card. I was told by the server that he was told not to send over the champagne. He didn’t give me an explanation as to why. We were not a rowdy bunch, most of us only had 2-3 cocktails and had a dining room almost to ourselves, which we couldn’t have been bothering anyone else. When I told the server how disappointed I was again with everything, his answer was he doesn’t make enough to bring my issues to the GM and therefore wouldn’t do so. Overall it was a horrible experience from the lack of food, service and respect. This restaurant is way too expensive(spent over $1100) to be treated the way we were. The management didn’t even seem to actually care about making the night better because they never went through with anything.

    Upon hearing your concerns & speaking with our front of house team, we realized your complaints were gross exaggerations & outright lies. Our staff stated that your party was terribly rude throughout the evening and that you joked about stealing glassware. Your reservation was at 7, but your party did not arrive until 7:45. Your 1st round of cocktails was dropped at 8 & your food order was put in the computer at the same time. You received appetizers at 8:25 & asked to order more. We fired that 2nd round of appetizers immediately which postponed your entrees. Your entrees dropped at your table at 9:20, 10 minutes before you left this review stating you still did not have them at 9:30. We allow 3 hours for a party of 8 for a proper dining experience. We are not a fast food establishment.
