We were very disappointed. Last time we’re there it was great. This time the menu had changed. It was very expensive and a la cart. I am not sure who can afford these prices. There was a surcharge at the end of the meal. The service and atmosphere were ok. I am definitely not going back to the attic for any meal. The Salish hotel is great. I felt like I was getting ripped off.

All our entrees were beautifully presented and tasty. Nice touch with flaming butter and olive oil dipping sauce for sour dough and kalmata olive breads. Piper, our serve, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive; great service. Highly recommend for special dinners.

With the restaurant under construction the back up location is too loud. The salad had way too much oil and the salmon dish was not well seasoned. The server did not check in after serving the main course. Thus not able to request salt and pepper which was needed. The brussels sprouts were good with nice big pieces of bacon. Overpriced for the quality.

This institution is such a treasure in this area between Seattle and the north Cascades / Snoqualmie Pass. We’ve stayed at the lodge in the past, which is a special luxury. This time we stopped in for lunch on the way to a weekends in the mountains. The Lodge was packed around noon with the weekend waterfall viewing crowd. I imagine the wait will get better once the dining room reopens. For The Attic, the fried chicken sandwich and biscuits with “honey from heaven” were perfect. I loved my fresh squeezed juice. We really appreciated our server Lyndsay, who pointed out views for the waterfalls. Highly recommend stopping here for food even if you’re not staying here!

The lobster bisque was the best I have ever eaten. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was disappointing. The seafood was somewhat bland, as well as the pasta too overwhelming in taste.
