Welcome to The Rex Seaside Steakhouse.

A neighborhood steakhouse using seasonal and quality ingredients to bring flavor and hospitality to Redondo Beach. Join us in our dining room every night or our Drift Cocktail Lounge on Friday and Saturdays for a night to remember.

Intentionally sourced with an eye for quality, we offer USDA Prime, Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu, and American Wagyu. All are steaks are cooked to perfection over our white oak fire.

Family-owned and operated, we strive to off a one-of-a-kind luxury experience with all the charm of a neighborhood restaurant.

Our server was excellent! We celebrated my nephew’s graduation. Food is incredible Cocktail’s on point. Glad we saved room for dessert! Can’t wait to go back

Lovely experience, celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here, he loves a steak and os tradition to try a new restaurant every year that specializes on steak he was not disappointed. Food was amazing, service was too. Would definitely recommend.

Made a reservation for my birthday dinner here. Have eaten here before and really enjoyed my experience. When i was seated i asked for a booth and hostess said they were reserved. We ate our entire meal, paid and left, the booth was empty the entire time. It was really very loud and mostly from one of the waiters speaking at their table extremely high volume. Its usually very chill in the restaurant but just felt annoyed by my whole experience. Quality of the food was lower than i have had previously. Will not be going back.

Me and my wife went for our anniversary. I believe the person that served us name was Chase. He was a great guy very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. I ordered the 12oz ribeye steak with Mac and asparagus and she got the pasta with a Cesar salad and bread. The food was delicious and very good quality. While eating our food we had drinks she got some coffee drink and I had 2 cups of wine. The drinks were good. Man it was just a great overall experience. We will be back soon. Thank you Rex steakhouse for making our anniversary date night memorable.

Another Fantastic evening at The Rex! Francisco (Frank) took great care of us! As always, the food, wine, and cocktails were delicious! For starters, we enjoyed The Captain’s Shrimp (fire grilled), Octopus, and Levin Bread. The New York steak was cooked perfectly. We also tried the new preparation of whole Branzino. It was such a unique preparation with sauces buerre blanc and saba with salmon roe, topped with a gremolata. It is such a special spot in the South Bay! We look forward to returning soon!
