   Excellent food presentation but as the menu is limited the food is fresh and of high quality. There was only one vegetarian option and no main course fish option on this occasion. All reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We've eaten here several times and have always had excellent meals in a comfortable, cosy and welcoming inn.

   The best sirloin of beef I’ve had for years. The lamb croquettes were also excellent. Fantastic wine list but unfortunately I couldn’t take advantage of as I was driver for the day. The friendly service was very good with just the right amount of attention. The only downside was the wait time for main course but the service team compensated by giving second drinks for free which was a lovely surprise when paying the bill!

    Dining at the Rhydspense was a real treat. I have allergies that were addressed very calmly and efficiently. Thank you to the Chef (Freddy) for making my meal separately. Thank you to all the staff for a superb meal with friends to celebrate a birthday. You are all amazing.
