   This was our first time dining at The River House but it won't be the last. It is a lovely space with nice big windows that make it feel even larger than it is. The service was impeccable. We split the tableside Caesar salad and it was so nice to have the dressing taste so fresh instead of just poured on from a container. Definitely worth ordering. One of us had the Dover Sole and the other had the snapper and both were done perfectly. We shared the corn souffle and it was the best either of us has ever had. We will be back anytime we're in downtown Nashville.

   Loved my experience here! I was able to make same day reservations for a Saturday night which is great. Our waiter was very attentive but did not interrupt our dinner at odd times. My friend order a steak with table side presentation and the chef was very friendly. The ambiance was beautiful with a live pianist. Will be adding this place to my list of recommendations when in Nashville.

   Service was good. Nice piano playing in the background. Food was good, unfortunately our steaks came out rare not medium and the broccolini came out cold. Had to send it back. Came back and the Mgr comp our entire dinner. That was great. Otherwise we will come back in the future!

   The service was fabulous. Our food was good, especially the steak, which was really tender, as well as the red snapper that was flavorful. The ambience was great with the live piano playing making it extra special.

   We come here every time we come to Nashville. I brought my niece this time and of course the food was outstanding. But this time our server was not to the standards of this nice restaurant. She disappeared constantly. We had to wait for her to take our order, she just never came over to our table. We had to constantly pour our own champagne. It really wasn’t that busy being a late Wednesday night. And when she did come to the table she was not friendly. Very disappointing. We will be back but hopefully not have her.

   The hostess could not have been more rude. They clearly are not from Nashville. They must have gone to New York or New Jersey to hire them where customer service has gone to die. Amazing restraunt apart from the team greeting all of their customers. Take a page out of the ritz Carlton or the four seasons where all of your customers feel welcomed and are made to feel important. It works.

   First time at the River House but won’t be the last. Food was great. The sea bass and Hemingway filet were both very good. Only downer was the service. The drinks took awhile to reach us and when we were done with our dinner, after not quite an hour, instead of asking if we wanted dessert or a coffee the server just plopped down the check. It ended a nice dinner on a sour note because it felt like they just wanted to turn over the table. We will be back and hope the service is better because the food was great.

    Great cocktails, great food and yummy carrot cake and coffee But the best part is the Piano Guy!!! His selections are spot. We mentioned skipping the symphony and just staying listening to him ❤️🎵🎶🎵
