   Wow! Loved every bit of this dinner! I was so excited when I heard of rivers edge opening in my hometown and couldn’t wait to try it. The chicken piccata immediately caught my eye on the menu and it absolutely did not disappoint. I savored every bit of it. The portion was very impressive as well with 2 thick chicken breasts, plenty of sauce and a generous portion of pasta with the perfect amount of capers. The asparagus with it was cooked to perfection. It wasn’t at all overdone but yet not a single piece was soggy either and also had a perfect char. The location with be so beautiful the warmer months and the interior is very modern. Our waitress was so nice and knowledgeable on the menu. She went above and beyond throughout our entire meal. The hostess was also very polite and made us feel welcomed immediately. Every point checked off with my hopes of this restaurant. Next time I may request to not sit at a table near the door there’s a draft but that’s the only constructive feedback I’d have.

   This was such a cute little higher end restaurant for the area it’s located. However, I got the salmon entree, and my husband got the fillet and unfortunately, I have to report that both were charged a little too much so we basically tasted charcoal while eating the meat. This was our first time going there and the ambience was very nice even though it was winter time. The decor on the tables was very nice. Hopefully they get a new chef or lower the heat on the oven or grill and let it cook for longer so it doesn’t char!

   The food was very good, we had the salmon, penne vodka, pot roast nachos and carrot cake. The service was very slow but hopfully they will get that figured out. We will definitely go back.

   We knew this restaurant just opened a few days before we came to visit so we didn’t have set expectations. I will say the restaurant itself is small with a large bar area. You will want to make reservations unless you plan on sitting at the bar. I think in summertime this would be a great spot to have a bite to eat and some drinks because they have garage doors as windows where they would be able to open them up to be able to enjoy the outside. Was not able to see if they have seating outside since it is currently winter. We were not able to view the menu prior to coming, which I feel that is something they definitely need to post soon with a website or a Facebook page. I feel that even though they just opened, those are the things they should’ve definitely had done prior. We went into it blindly without knowing what type of food they would be serving. Our server was very nice but her service was definitely slow. At one point another server came over to us just to make sure that we were waited on because we had been sitting there for a while without any drinks. Teamwork in a restaurant is awesome. Kuddos to her for helping her coworker. We didn’t mind the slow service because normally when we go to a restaurant, we don’t like to feel rushed and like to enjoy a few drinks with dinner. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful. The food menu is your typical options of appetizers, salad, soups, handhelds, and some entrées. My husband had the strip steak which he said was good and it was prepared the way he requested. I had the rotisserie chicken wrap. It packs a lot of flavor and some spice, I definitely enjoyed it. We would definitely return again. I think next time we definitely will return during the summer and have a few drinks and try the nachos and wings.  I think this business will do very well.

   Thank you very much and yes shame on us for not having our menu out sooner. We do have a great team some that have never served before so thank you also for the kindness of giving them a chance. Can't wait to see you on the patio with a refreshing cocktail!

    From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a warm welcome from the hostess. Server went above and beyond, food was delicious and the view of the river was amazing. Can't wait to return!
