   I have eaten here for all five times in the past and met up with some friends because it was a mutually convenient location to meet at. They had not been before and loved it. The food did not disappoint at all and they went to the nth degree to cope with a food allergy. Overall an amazing pub with a fantastic staff and lovely food. Cannot recommend the fish finger sandwich highly enough or the Penang curry

   Wow another awesome meal at this wonderful bar & restaurant, fantastic food and drinks and great service as ever. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in North Devon, a true gem of a place. Many thanks for looking after us.

   I didn’t appreciate a dog putting its face under my arm near my food. That was no fault of the restaurant but a poor dog owner. The food and service was amazing.

   Sat in the bar for dinner at 6pm with our dog and it was quite so very peaceful service was quick and food was excellent

   We have been to the Rock several times on our visits to North Devon. Quality of the food is always excellent, the welcome and service always friendly.

    Great roast dinner and the blackberry and vanilla crème brûlée and the blackberry and apple crumble were both amazing. Definitely would recommend. We visited on Mother’s Day but the food was brought out speedily and piping hot.
