Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

    The food was, as always, absolutely lovely. 3 of us had the roast beef that was cooked to perfection. My only slight criticism was it wasn't hot. I understand they were very busy, but I'd of liked it hotter. Service was a bit slower than normal but again assume that was due to how busy they were, which does say a lot about the venue and what it offers.

    The food was once again fantastic, we were a table of 7 booked last minute for 5:30 when the kitchen closes at 6pm and the roast dinner was still outstanding. The other food that we ordered was too of course. We love it here!

    had family over from the USA brought them here for lunch and as usual didn’t disappoint. the staff were happy, friendly and helpful the food was hot, delicious and very filling. though we did fit in a pudding will definitely be back again soon

    Delicious food and great service. Went 3 nights on the trot whilst staying locally at Tamworth for a classic car show at the NEC, our third year going to The Rose now and wouldn’t go anywhere else, excellent place to dine, highly recommend.

    Had the share Sunday platter. Amazing food, great portions and really tasty. Meat was tender and vegetables and sides perfect. Saved a little room for pudding which was also delicious. Took our dogs in the bar area and were well looked after. Great staff and service.
