   Eat here often as the food and service always stand out above the rest. Yesterday the crackling was the best I have ever had.

   Our 2nd visit recently and the same excellence both times; staff friendly & very efficient, food is plentiful & delicious. Dining area is spacious and comfortable. Everything you could want here. Will be back soon.

   I love eating different plates of food, rather than one big plate of the same thing, so The Royal is perfect for me. There was a great choice, and the menu is regularly updated, so we tried a few dishes we hadn't had before. The food was excellent, as usual, and the service very good. My favourite place to eat.

   Food quality and choice is fantastic. We opted for a couple of fillet steaks with prawn toppings and sauces. Cooked to perfection. No room left for desserts. Great service. It's our favourite local eat out.
