   We haven’t been for a while but we were once again blown away by the whole experience, the menu had lots of new dishes and the service was impeccable, the curried goat and the salmon and scallop en croute were absolutely delicious, my husband had the pork and I had the ox cheek pudding for main course and both were outstanding and so were the desserts. Great food, great team, great place.

   The Rum Fox is a stunning venue. This was a special Birthday celebration at lunchtime service. Food and service was excellent and attentive. No rush to exit the table. Very relaxed in beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

   Nice relaxed atmosphere with attentive staff. Chef Bob goes that extra mile and adds food he has foraged from the local area.

    The Rum Fox: Where Even Vegetarians Clean Their Plates!! From the moment you step into The Rum Fox, you’re treated like royalty. The service? Impeccable. The food? So good, you’ll consider licking the plate, but please, resist the urge. Portions are just right. Not so massive that you need a forklift to carry you out, nor so tiny that you’re left searching for the rest of your meal. Each dish is a harmonious blend of flavors, textures, and colors that would make a rainbow jealous. Now, my wife is a vegetarian, a fact that often leads to her being offered the “chef’s special” of grilled air with a side of lettuce. But at The Rum Fox? She’s treated to a symphony of vegetarian options so delectable that I found myself eyeing her plate with envy. She usually eats like a bird, but here, she devoured every morsel. We’ve dined here multiple times, and each visit feels like a new adventure. The consistency in excellence is commendable, and the menu ensures there’s always something new to tantalise our taste buds. Highly recommended!
