    We found the food ok, reasonable value, but what let the place down was poor service. Took an eternity to take our order and also to bring dessert. We ended up going to the bar to pay in the end because we were tired of waiting.

    A perfect Sunday lunch We had a fabulous lunch. Great value for menu. The roasts were delicious obviously great ingredients and a very brilliant culinary team. Everything was tasty, hot and full of flavour. Service is second to none Very hard to beat Well done impressive

    . Following recommendation we booked a table for a Sunday get-together with friends. This will definitely not be our last visit. The Sunday roast choices were excellent - well-cooked food, well-presented and efficiently served by a great staff team. Thank you to all at The Ship.

    Excellent food. Nice gaps between each course. Nice and warm venue and not to noisy. Good choice of beers, ciders and larger
