The Snooty Fox is a pub with a difference and Northamptonshire's finest freehouse - there is so much to sample, you’ll need to revisit many times - and you’ll always be assured of a Snooty Fox welcome whenever you do.

The pub itself is a truly stunning place in the heart of Lowick, a lovely village with a great community spirit.

The Greedy Gordons Pub Group were thrilled to take over the pub in 2020 and wanted to create an unusual and quirky venue with food and drink to match.

    Booked online, unfortunately on arrival we discovered the festive menu wasn't available via booking this way. Normal lunch menu was ok but pricey for "something and chips". The bill arrived and the server arrived for payment before it'd been looked at, and subsequently I missed an overcharging error. Dessert seemed more focussed on presentation than taste, looked good but gingerbread dessert was too stodgy, needed more sauce and the orange pairing didn't cut through the dense and dry sponge. A shame for such a lovely pub.

    This was our second visit and my food was very nice and lovely restaurant. The only negative was lack of Seasoning on the fish sandwich, overall definitely a place to try.

    We have visited a few times and its always great food and service. The place is lovely to. I would highly recommend to anyone. It gets busy and this time of year its to be expected to be a bit lounder or as I like to think more atmospheric. Look forward to visiting again soon.

    Superb food, friendly servers very attentive. Venue was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Can’t fault it. Very jealous of the wine rack though!!!
