   Sunday roast was plentiful, however the meat was tough and chewie. Understanding the meat was pink. Chateaubriand outstanding . Service was tardy understanding the restaurant was quiet, however this maybe due to the cooking of the chateaubriand.

   Fantastic! Highly recommend to anyone, the staff the venue everything was brilliant. They went above and beyond for our anniversary and it was greatly appreciated. Will definitely be back.

   Service was great the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. The food did not have the wow factor that I was expecting. The steak I ordered was the fillet and it was well done which was what I asked for. This is how I eat my steaks and always have fillet. I found it chewy. The peppercorn sauce was very salty. Please know Thai am not saying it was bab just not what I expected. Very expensive.

   Had a lovely lunch. Set menu. Great tasting food, attentive staff, we were here for ages, not rushed at all. We’ll be back!

   A lovely setting and the quality of the ingredients is obviously high, staff are friendly however failed to bring an ordered drink then most importantly one of the steaks that was ordered medium well arrived medium rare (despite being confirmed by the waitress after ordering also) for a premium steak restaurant this should be their bread and butter so to speak and meant one of the party had to sit and wait on this being cooked further while the rest eat. Manager removed the service charge from the bill as an apology but as that only affects staff seemed miserly not to still leave a tip would have been better if they had offered to make some drinks or an appetizer or something that had been ordered complementary. Wasn’t a bad meal all round but there are better steak restaurants locally to this that offer better value or a better experience at the same price point

   Very attentive start from start to finish. Food was amazing and one of the best steaks I’d had in a long time. Highly recommend a visit

    What a lovely restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh. The food was amazing ( shared chateaubriand) , the staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere relaxed. We will definitely return.
