   We chose the perfect spot to celebrate the many things my partner and I had to celebrate (him coming back to Canada, 6 month anniversary, a new better paying job, etc). The food was outstanding, the drinks delicious, the ambiance cozy and perfect for an intimate night out. The wait-staff are professional, welcoming, and extremely personable. From the moment you walk into this strip-plaza corner unit you are treated both like royalty and family. My partner, who is from Dominica, is now convinced that Canadian food can be good, we just had to find the right spot! And if you don't believe me about the food, we spent the meal barely talking, which is a lot for a couple who had been long distance for 4 months and usually can barely stop talking long enough to breathe lol!

   This was our second time here and this time we did the tasting menu. We opted for the $75 one and we were so pleased with our decision! Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. We even brought some leftovers home! You can even make substitutions as long as you pay the difference! We will definitely be going back!

   Amazing top quality food with great flavour combinations. Awesome attentive and knowledgeable service. We’ve always had a great exporter’s. One comment is it’s a little cramped with so many tables close together.

   Superb, as always. Started off with a serving of oysters from the raw bar, the duck liver mousse and the sunflower-spelt bread. Rye cavatelli and wild striped bass were our delectable mains. Friendly, attentive service and cozy, warm atmosphere. Absolute gem.

   This was our 2nd time eating at this restaurant & it does not disappoint! The food is outstanding & the staff are so personable & informative. Everyone has an in-depth knowledge about the food, where it is sourced & the drink mixology & they go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience eating there. The best restaurant in Whitby in my opinion! Reservations required as it is a small, intimate restaurant with limited seating.

   This was our first time going to the Springwood Restaurant. Our daughter and son gave us a gift certificate for Christmas. We were so impressed with everything from the food to the service and our waitress was unbelievable and so knowledgeable. She explained everything about what was in the food etc. what a pleasant and wonderful experience. We will be telling everyone about our wonderful experience with this restaurant. Thank you!!!

   Fabulous family style meal, at a really creative and fun restaurant. We had seven items, and they were all fantastic! It’s so fun to share and there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t really enjoy. My favourites are the pate with waffles, the amazing sourdough bread, and the coffee cardamom ice cream. But honestly, everything is fantastic! The service is amazing and it’s a fun ambience. Once we’re back from a holiday, we’re going to try to go once a month! Make sure you reserve ahead… it’s busy.

   We celebrated my wife's birthday over dinner at the Springwood. This is a small intimate restaurant with service beyond expectation. This was our first visit and we chose the $75 shared seasonal dinner option per person. It was a 5 course meal full of surprises. The staff explained each course in detail . Each course was exquisitely presented and the the taste was beyond of what we have experienced elsewhere. The chef has created unique flavours in all of the dishes which certainly hit the "sweet spot" of our taste buds. We spend just over 2 hours enjoying our dinner and never felt rushed to vacate our table. It was a wonderful experience worth repeating.

    It was our first time at The Springwood and our server was very helpful guiding us through the menu and how we should approach it. The cocktail options are amazing, innovative and offer lots of fresh ingredients. The craft beers are local and offer something for everyone. The food was fresh and big portions, designed for sharing.
