This year, one of our most cherished traditions, Afternoon Tea, takes on an enchanting new theme—The Nutcracker— inviting you to join us in the hotel’s grand lobby for a magical winter wonderland experience. Delight in whimsical treats like "Mouse King" and "Clara's” finger sandwiches, each crafted to celebrate the festive spirit. Savor the sweetness of "Sugar Plum Fairy" cupcakes, "Nutcracker" sugar cookies, and “Holly Leave” Choux, all designed to enchant your palate

High Tea during the Holidays at The St. Regis is an absolute delight. Our server, Gabby, was incredibly gracious and provided exceptional service. We had a fantastic time, and this event truly put us in the holiday spirit. However, I did notice that this year, they’ve discontinued the tradition of gifting the White House ornament, which was a special touch when we visited last year.

Was a nice atmosphere but really expensive for little food and just some tea. They should give a discount for kids and the price doesn't include champagne and you can only get one kind of tea. Would prefer to go somewhere where its not that expensive.

Beautiful holiday selection of sandwiches and treats. Their special blended Holiday Tea was very tasty! They did an amazing job with a gluten-free selection for my sister. She was so thrilled! (Busy lobby setting is slightly awkward, but nicely holiday decorated and grand.)

Been coming to the Holiday Tea at the St. Regis for years, this year they raised the price and removed the annual White House Christmas Tree ornament gift. Due to the changes it will be our last year attending, it simply is not worth the over $120 per person price for a Christmas themed menu which doesn’t give anything extra outside of the regular tea offering that costs less.

Unfortunately I felt this experience was extremely overpriced. We had a few tiny savory sandwiches and then they brought out the desserts. I realize most of the price comes from the fact that this is at the St Regis, however we were sat in the lobby, not even a dining room. It was very distracting in the lobby, naturally as people are checking in and out and there was an event happening so it was quite loud. At one point a random group of people stood next to our table and talked for about 30 minutes which really ruined the experience. I would say this was maybe worth half of the $118/per person + tip we paid.

Hello- we love the St Regis tea, having enjoyed it annually for many years. However , we were disappointed that they eliminated the inclusion of the White House historical ornaments as a gift and yet increased the price of the tea. Delicious food, lovely staff and relaxing environment.

We usually go to the Willard’s Peacock Alley afternoon tea around the holidays but this year, when I went to book a reservation, there was no availability. So, I hunted around for an alternative, saw this, and decided we would give it a try. And we LOVED IT! The food was plentiful and delicious. The pastries were so beautifully and creatively made to reflect the Christmas season that I almost didn’t wast to eat them. It is also just a gorgeous place to have tea. The lobby where the tea is served is both grand and intimate. We were seated right by a big picture window. (Let’s be honest, there is a reason they call it Peacock Alley—you are basically sitting in a hallway making the experience at the Willard a bit claustrophobic.) And the service was OUTSTANDING! Everyone was so nice and attentive. (Although the service at the Willard is also generally good, it does feel a bit like a factory assembly line.) I almost don’t want to tell you how much we loved the whole experience because I don’t want it to get overrun like the Willard. The tea service at the Willard is still nice but I think we have found our new favorite place. Thank you to all the staff at the St. Regis for making it such a memorable experience!

Skip this one. Food was below average and tea was luke warm when served. Staff only brought tea and food to table never came back to check on anything. We were seated at a table so far away from each other we couldn’t talk or reach the food. Way over priced. DC has much better options and for the record food is Xmas themed but no decorations or ornaments given if you are expecting that. At least if you go before Thanksgiving. Would have liked to give no stars but not an option.
