Located in the leafy area of Bowdon, The Stamford is a modern interpretation of pubs from a bygone era; a social space enjoyed by the local community and visitors alike, serving the wider Altrincham, Hale and Cheshire area.

We offer a fresh food a la carte menu alongside lunch specials throughout the pub and a crowd-pleasing set price menu on a Sunday, including our famous mixed meat roasts. Whether a quick pint or bite after work, a romantic meal for two, a special celebration, or a few hours sat in our sunshine garden at the front, we have space

Food excellent as always but there is little point in leaving feedback as this is never passed onto the staff. Grace is a wonderful addition to this pub, and always offers service with a smile. Always. Thanks, Grace.

We had a lovely waitress who was really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was very busy but this didn’t affect the service.

We had a lovely experience. Food was delicious, and your servers helped with our food selection. Very Christmassy and attractive building. And our dog was very well looked after.

Always a pleasure to dine at this old favourite. We took a wreath making class today beforehand and the pub is so Christmassy. Staff awesome. Food great and good value. Loved it x
