   Very convenient. Great service - some of the best we have experienced in PV. Good food, nicely presented and well cooked. cocktails great too - would definitely recommend 👍

   Good food , over priced service not good, would not accept 1000 peso bill . Patron made excuses that it was old and had no value. He was wrong. Next day 1000 peso bill was accepted at hotel. Will not return with 6 friends Modesto Ingratta

   Thank you for the review regarding the 1000peso bill, both scenarios can be true in Mexico without anyone being a liar. The bill you presented is quite old and has been removed from circulation and devalued. The National Bank of Mexico will exchange those bills for a bill of legal tender, but there is no branch of the BOM in Vallarta. The regional bank that we use will not exchange the bill. Your hotel accepted the bill, because they may have bank connections that we do not in order to make the exchange? We do hope you would consider continuing to patronize our business given that this is something that is out of our control. You indicated service was poor, Juan Carlos is an excellent server usually. Are you able to share other points that may help us improve?

   We always looked forward to dining here over the past 5 years but it has changed hands at some point and its gone down hill. It will be hard to ever go back and they may not be around next year if they don’t sort this out. What a horrible experience, which was made worse by the defensive manager at the end of the night, instead of apologizing, he attempted to negotiate a discount for our disappointing experience which included a 2.5 hour wait for our 2 salads, 2 pastas and a salmon entree. Other tables complained as delivery orders went out the door and left the customers waiting, and hungry. The problem is clearly the manager not able to run a kitchen and then takes no accountability for making you wait. You can only be patient and understanding for so long. I hope the waitstaff quickly finds better work opportunities elsewhere - they have to be getting tired of angry customers, as the sinking ship that The Swedes has become is headed on a collision course with the restaurant cemetery. Spend your time and pesos elsewhere unless you can sit around all night, hungry and waiting for your dinner. The owner needs to see this and right the ship and not allow the manager to bury this review.

   Our first experience at The Swedes! It was a nice average dining adventure! Our server was wonderful, but it did take awhile for our first course to arrive! The gazpacho and beet salad were excellent, our main courses, the stuffed. Chicken breast and pork dish were very average! Would we return..yes but not high on our list!

   Charming European fare restaurant with a great array of delicious food offered: several salads, interesting appetizers, fish, pasta, meat choices all on one menu. Everything made to perfection. We ate charcuterie, tapas, unusual salads, pastas, pork loin and even hamburger. Recommend this restaurant highly!

   I won’t say don’t try Swedes, you would have to decide for yourself. My average review was more of a feeling than any concrete problem. The food was very good. However, if you have any kind of physical impairment Swedes is not a good choice. Very difficult to climb all those stairs for us.

   One of our favourite restaurants in Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta. Cosmopolitan are delicious and the food outstanding. Gravias to Taddeo for the perfect service everything we go and also to Luis who makes sure everything is fine. Great atmosphere that you'll want to come back to over and over again.
