   Everything was excellent. We particularly liked the approach to our food allergies which was very accommodating. The food was delicious and the staff were great. They were friendly and professional. The only comment we would like to make, is that we would prefer the main courses to come with some vegetables, rather than have to order separately. Would highly recommend the Tartan Fox. 🦊

   Really lovely place. Lovely welcoming staff who couldn't be more helpful. Food was great, as you'd expect (try the haggis scotch egg) and the setting was really cosy, especially with the wind and rain outside (helped that we sat by the fire warming ourselves).

   Lovely restaurant with fantastic food and brilliant staff. Went for 60th birthday as part of a group and experience couldn't have been better

   A wonderfully indulgent Saturday lunch in January, an excellent way to celebrate a birthday. There was something for everyone’s taste, slow cooked beef, pork, baked fish and a simple fish and chips, the sides were excellent too, especially the hispi cabbage from the grill. All dishes were beautifully calculated with their own accompanying flavoured sauces/gravies/dips designed to show of the star of the show. We are now great fans. Would highly recommend. Would also suggest you leave room and try the desserts, they were outstanding, each one perfect.

   This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning! The food was amazing and the staff were really lovely. They were very friendly, the whole atmosphere was really relaxing and overall a lovely place to go. Thanks to everyone for making our visit so nice.

   Fabulous as always, it was our 4th visit and we were greeted so warmly. It was my birthday treat and everything was fabulous. Definitely our favourite place to visit in Cornwall 🤩

    Booking- They were happy to have a large mixed group including a vegan and were not put off by potential complex allergies. I had to ring several times to make changes to the booking and they were lovely each time. Finding it - a little bit difficult in the dark. It’s in the caravan park. Inside - nicely decorated. We loved the music and it was just the right volume Food - fantastic, though there were odd discrepancies in portion sizes. The fish and chips were huge, the vegetable dishes much smaller Staff - perfect. Attentive without being intrusive
