The terrace always has a lovely ambiance however the bar staff who took my order left a lot to be desired. Initially forgot our drinks order and then gave us the incorrect order including serving alcohol when I am not able to drink at the moment and another drink that has an ingredient I was allergic too. A mistake is understandable however it was the trying to cover it up Another staff member was able to fix it quickly but only after an extensive wait

Great views and design. Good location. We never got to eat because we left early. We'll take it as holiday mistake but it was the worse hospitality experience in a long time. Don't book a high table, apparently it comes with self service and food can only be ordered if the place is not crowded. The ambiance suggest high quality hospitality but unfortunately that expectation was not met.

The view from The Terrace is fantastic and one of the best in Brisbane, however, that is the only positive comment I can make. We arrived at exactly the time we booked only to wait 15 minutes for a staff waiter to finally checked our booking. When informed that there were no sit down tables available and we would have to use one of the high tables with stools I said that we were happy to wait for one of the low tables to be cleared. With a huff and mumbles the waiter reluctantly cleared a table at the rear of the restaurant with no view. I asked if one of the tables on the window could be cleared so we could had a view. More huffs and grumbles and finally 30 minutes after arriving we were seated. It should be noted that we watched a number of other groups led to the high tables while 4 tables along the windows remained uncleaned with dirty dishes on them for the duration of our breakfast. A fixed price breakfast at $45/head was explained to us with continental assortments coming out then a cooked breakfast. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast arrived before we had managed to eat half of our continental assortment (and we are fast eaters). We pushed to fruit aside to eat the cooked breakfast. And just as well we did as the eggs were already cold. Finally don’t expect water. Glasses were placed on our table I think just to tease us as we never received water despite asking 3 seperate staff member if we could get some. By the time we left 6 tables were now uncleared and people were lining up at the door. I overheard a waiter say to a complaining customer that they needed more staff, however, there were plenty of staff they just needed better management and coordination. I’ve never seen a restaurant in more desperate need of leadership. I will not be going back.

Our visit was extremely disappointing. For our anniversary we wanted to celebrate somewhere special but ended up with a small and extremely average tasting Margarita costing $32 so after our first think decided not to try the bar style menu for such a special day.
