   Beautiful atmosphere. Check the menu before you go in case the limited items are not what you want to eat. It’s expensive, but we were expecting that. The food was not particularly elevated. The tuna carpaccio was unfortunately situated in a huge club of salad dressing. The catch of the day was swordfish. It was very beautiful, but cooked too long so it was dry. There is no bread unless you pay for it. Service was just fine except they kept trying to take my plate away before my husband was finished. In fine dining we were supposed to wait until everyone is finished. The wine list is short but decent. Not a good value.

   Pretty bad for an upscale hotel restaurant. Over cooked fish, over cooked chicken, under cooked appetizers, only about 10 bottles on the wine list, extra long wait times between courses, bad cocktails, and screaming kids running around followed by staff dragging tables and chairs around the restaurant. It was nearly $200 for about $80 in Hawaii value and we left still hungry.

   The best about The Terrace was the spectacular sunset view the unrushed pace of service, and the low noise level . We found the food to be good but nothing really special.

   This place near better management and more skilled staff. Food is average. Servers are nice but getting trained on the job. Menu options are limited.

   Grand Seafood Platter was excellent - service was super disorganized though. We had some dietary restrictions that we warned the restaurant about ahead of time through OpenTable and that seemed to have landed, but even though the server acknowledged the restrictions and said certain things could be amended they ended up being the same or being sent up as originally intended. Would not recommend for those with strict adhesions. They also nearly served us another table's order, forgot a drink we ordered, and offered to write a happy birthday message on our dessert but forgot apparently and sent up the dessert as is. Overall tasty food but wouldn't recommend for a special occasion. Exceptional pianist and views make up for some drawbacks but enough to justify the price and experience.

   It’s a great choice for atmosphere, especially in the afternoon and at sunset. The staff is kind all around. Our server came off as inexperienced (confused many things on the menu), but she was the exception to an otherwise very competent and helpful crew. The food was good although not for the price. There are similar price points elsewhere in Waikiki and Honolulu that offer better meals. We are glad we went although we don’t think we’ll return.

    Very overpriced, long delays in service and food on what seemed like a quiet night, tasty appetizers but very underwhelming mains. The polenta was not very flavorful, and the surf and turf plate was a miss. Undercooked potatoes, bitter salad dressing and a very basic steak sauce did not complement an under seasoned and slightly overcooked cut of wagyu. Ambience was lovely with a pianist and the fireworks from waikiki beach were visible from our table, but I couldn’t recommend it for the price.
