Following a major refurbishment in Autumn 2014 under the new ownership, Sally and Dave pride themselves on offering fresh, local, homemade food every day from 9am to 9pm.




The various menus include restaurant quality seasonal dishes from the ‘Chef’s Recommendations’ section through to a great selection of fresh fish and tasty steaks.

    Lovely refurb and good to see so many people eating there. Food was good although a little longer wait than normal. Very friendly staff working extremely hard. We all hope that the volume of customers remains.

    The service was very good. The food was hot. Not always the case when dining out. So very much appreciated. And value for money. The premises had been given a welcome uplift. The toilets were clean. Not always the case when dining out. So all in all a much appreciated Sunday lunch.

    After the closure it is still an excellent venue with good food and beer at sensible prices. The change in surrounding has enhanced the ambience and modernised it without changing its character. We will be back again.

    Took the signal sat in the bar area . Nice food good service just didn’t get reminded to have loyalty card stamped
