We were greeted right away, delicious drinks to start. We ordered an app (meatballs and ricotta), which were brought very quickly, but it was only warm, not hot. We had just eaten a meatball each when my husband’s entree came. What? No space between app and entree? And we had asked for two, but only one was brought. When I changed to Hamburger, it took 20 min for that to come…but it was perfect and delicious! Overall, it was very busy. Friday night, first in Dec. The manager checked on us and the waiter apologized. All in all, we enjoyed everything, although we didn’t get to eat together (at the same time.)

The food and the service. We’re both very good. We did have one glitch. The sausage that came with breakfast looked a little under done when it was served. The server took it back to the kitchen to be cooked a little bit more and never brought it back.

There was something in the air that caused some of the mis-steps at the restaurant. Our vodka tonics didn't have tonic, the lobster arrived without the appropriate lobster cracker and we had to wait for over 20 minutes for our entrees. We give high praise to the lobster dinner & the lobster roll. The raw oyster appretizer was shucked properly and was tasty. We've been to the Tun House on many occassions & this was the first time things were off kilter.

The oysters were so bad that I was afraid to eat some of them; mushroom soup wasn't very good and the chocolat dessert was very salty

I had a reservation for the main dinning are @7:00 and I was offered a high table. There are many individuals that are not comfortable sitting at high tables and high table height chairs. They informed me that regular table was not available and I had to wait. I was seated @7:20. They should inform guests of the possibility of not being seated at a regular table in advance when they have a reservation. The food was good however: two guests in our party had the salmon and had stomach and GI problems afterwards.

While we had to wait a while for our table, the manager comped us on several appetizers. The crab dip and Brussels sprout were outstanding. All 6 people in our party enjoyed their dinners. My wife and I both had Salmon which was a generous portion and a great sauce. We will return!
