The food was excellent, baked haddock. They were slammed but managed to serve a large group efficiently.

The Grill menu is back with the filet and haddock! Food, drinks and service were exceptional. John was attentive and also served as the bartender making a delicious expresso martini. So happy to see the changes!!!

We were so happy that the grill menu is back! Food was exceptional from haddock to lobster roll. The service was outstanding as Pam goes above and beyond.

The food and service was good. We were VERY disappointed that they turned their “fine dining” restaurant into serving pub food which we could have gotten across the hall without a reservation. They used to serve oysters on the half shell (if you like seafood) and a delicious filet mignon!!!! Now, you might as well go to a bar.

Misleading grille menu posted online. Totally same menu for pub. Had to push to be seated in the grille side with hostess. Server was great. Attentive and knowledgeable. Kitchen ran out of rice and potatoes. Only side was fries. So mixed feelings on this grille and total operation. Food was fine. Pushing to sit in the quiet side is not ok where we had reserved months ago Get it together corporate!

Our service and food were excellent. My only suggestion would be to update the website as , the menu is the same in both the grill and pub. The ambiance is is nicer and the more quiet.

Found this gem. Sat outside on their patio which had an incredible view. Food was really good and the wait staff were so incredibly nice and attentive! Highly recommended and will be back on a future trip to Maine!

We went to Union Grill on a Friday night. What a lovely location but unfortunately the hotel failed to make the place cozy with any kind of decorations. Service was friendly enough but just not attentive. Food was okay, crusted haddock was tasty, veggies and potatoes tasteless. Not sure what the veggies were, not broccolini as listed on the menu. Definitely need to step up their game for the price point and the location.

Small room with fireplace was perfect on a cool rainy spring evening. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and short rib/polenta. Yes, the blueberries in the blueberry pie are the tiny Maine ones!
