Located in the heart of historic Genesee Depot just down the road from the famous Ten Chimneys you will find the Union House. Known for its unique menu featuring wild game fused with classic fine dining, our mission is to bring people together while creating a memorable dining experience surrounded by historic photos of the town along with Union House frequenters, Lynn Fontanne and Alfred Lunt. The menu is driven by ingredients and is constantly developing throughout the year led by award-winning Executive Chef and General Manager, Dan Harrell and Executive Sous Chef, Christian Garcia-Cortez. We feature an extensive wine, scotch and bourbon list highlighting selections from around the United States and world along with barrel-aged old fashioneds and Manhattans that include our very own hand-crafted bitters.     One of our Favorite places to enjoy fine dining in a very comfortable and unique atmosphere. We enjoyed the Swordfish Special and Filet Mignon - both delicious! A very nice Wine Selection was appreciated as well. Thanks to all for the wonderful Service - Bethani, our Server & Anna at the Bar is always so friendly. Everyone was so welcoming & professional. 100% recommend!

    The Union House is always an amazing experience. Last night our server Daria was so sweet and attentive. Now the food, I can’t put words together to explain how wonderful it was. This seasons menu is superb! We had the wild boar meatballs, OMG, I was speechless and I know I will be back for those again and again before the menu changes. For the entree I had the scallops, while my other half had the wild game feature of elk over minestrone, with the broccolini and creamed spinach as sides. Phenomenal! My scallops were like a party in my mouth with every bite, I didn’t want to stop the party! A thousand kudos to the chef!!

    Food was excellent as always, a few new items on the menu since our last visit to keep things interesting. And Adeline was amazing, great friendly, and helpful service. We’ll keep coming back every chance we get.

    We could not be more pleased with our dining experience at The Union House. Everyone from the welcoming staff member at the door, to the hostess who took us to our table, to our waitress, to the servers who brought out our dinner or poured the water were attentive to detail, warm and welcoming. The food was exceptional as were the cocktails. We will be back!

    Seating was pleasant, waiter was a good - he seemed to get busy at the end and not able to focus on our needs. Dinner salad, entrees and sides did not meet our expectations. Salad (ceasar) dressing was a bit too much lemon and oily; sides of broccolini and mushrooms were too salty. Steak and lobster were well cooked and tasty. Crabcake flavor was too Smokey for me.
