   We had a horrible experience for our Valentine’s evening dinner. Are waiter was very inattentive and it took over 30 minutes to get our cocktails and he didn’t even offer water while we waited. I had to ask another server to come by to take our food order and with that they had limited menu items due to Valentine’s Day and they ran out of pizza for the eve. Our waiter did not offer an alternative and walked away before I finished asking him a question.Overall do not waste your time on dining here for any special occasions.

   From the moment we arrived, we were met with disorganization. After getting seated, we ordered our steak as medium well, but it arrived as medium rare. They sent it back, and after waiting 20 minutes for another steak to be cooked properly, it was also delivered as medium rare. By then, we were over an hour into our meal and had been waiting for our entree. The waiter disappeared for more than 30 minutes and never checked on us, so we decided to cancel the steak. When the waiter finally brought the check, it was clear that they didn’t seem to care about our disappointing experience. We were thoroughly disappointed with this restaurant.

   It’s a very nice quiet place to enjoy a dinner date! Food was good, wide array of wines to pick from. Service is attentive nice and friendly!

   The second floor was very cozy and had an amazing atmosphere.Felt like a very inclusive space with fast service. Recommend 100%

   I love this place. The ambience. The small plates. The drinks. Been here twice, and can’t wait to return. I highly recommend the banana cake dessert.

   We were so disappointed that the retro menu that first brought us here was dwindled down to only 3 items. The menu is what made this place so special. We also loved when there was jazzy live music while we dined, but this time it was karaoke--and it was brutal. So loud, and mostly very untalented. It was hard to hear myself think, let alone enjoy my meal and my company. We were so disappointed, as we come here often and it was one of our special favorite places! :(

   LA has gotten expensive, phew. I was at Velvet Martini Lounge last night for open mic/karaoke. Everything was a la carte. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. That was 25 dollars. Garlic bread was 8 dollars, didn't come with. I had a margarita that was 18 dollars and a chardonnay that was 16. Total bill was 77. I think above my budget, but service was great.
