Set high on a hilltop with breathtaking panoramic views of the Monterey Bay, The View Restaurant & Bar at Chaminade offers a unique dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the naturally beautiful scenery which compliments the contemporary California Cuisine. Whether it’s sustainable seafood or locally grown produce, The View emphasizes natural ingredients while providing four-diamond service. A 4% surcharge will be added to all guest checks to help cover increases in labor costs and to support a higher minimum wage.

***Please note that our kitchen closes from 1:30pm-2:00pm to prepare for dinner service. Our bar and restaurant remain open during that time, offering a fine selection of local wines, craft beers, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic refreshments to enjoy.

What a beautiful day all around. Had Katcha as a server and we were greeted by Abram. It was very good and the food was super. We can’t wait to come back for the food and the view.

So much fun. The food, music, view and atmosphere were outstanding. Not your typical hotel restaurant that’s for sure. They should be discussed with the best in town. This is no fluke

We stayed for a memorial so we weren’t in the greatest mindset. It was truly an amazing turn around. Came for breakfast and happy hour. Gene was pleasant at breakfast along with the chief. Back for happy hour and it was brilliant.

Great live Music, food was cooked and served perfectly. Quick service, the view from the porch was awesome. Heaters kept us nice and toasty. We also had a large group that Chef Avram accommodated with short notice. What a great place. Who knew?

We arrived early for our reservation and it was pretty busy but not packed. We ordered the wings as it was bar hour and some Sauvignon blanc. Then we sat for dinner and ordered the calamari, which was outstanding. Shared the short rib and steak with fries. Both came out hot and cooked great. Service was good and we loved the ginger cocktail.

Live music and Ginger Eclipse!? So good. We sat at the bar and had sliders, wings, a wedge and the most amazing calamari we’ve ever had! We are English and know good Crispy Fish! We also had the Truffle Chips to go back to our room with. Asked for well done so they wouldn’t be soggy. After a nightcap and the chips we were on cloud 9. Love that we have more time left on our trip.
