   We have really enjoyed coming to The Vig over the past few years; however, the food has gone downhill (hot honey chicken sandwich was soggy and didn’t have much flavor, the sweet potato fries were burned with little flavor) but the most unenjoyable part of the evening was the live musician who refused to turn his speakers down. If I want to go to a concert I will go to a concert. When you have to yell at your out of town guests in order to hear it is ridiculous. The servers were upset over it. Even the 25 year old guys sitting behind us were complaining about it. MULTIPLE people complained and yet the musician wouldn’t turn it down. The manager should have asked him to leave if he wouldn’t honor the guests requests. Absolutely outrageous. We won’t be back until they change that part of their business model - and get the quality of food back up to where it used to be. On a positive note Elle was a great server!

   Great food, great service, the live music was a little loud for my taste. It made it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. We probably would have stayed longer, and had dessert, if we could have conversed more easily. Otherwise, a very lovely place.

   food (enchiladas) was only room temperature when received- sauce was not hot either. service was marginal: one order was wrong and needed water bottle on table filled twice: had to ask both times. good vibe although music on speakers outside was too loud

   Tried the Asian Salad will def be getting that again. Gloria our waitress was very attentive and did great job. The Vig has been in our restaurant rotation for a long time because food is reliably good and the wait staff is great

   Came here for NYE, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The atmosphere was electric, with fantastic live music setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were top-notch—crafted with care and creativity. The staff was attentive and courteous throughout the night, with a special shoutout to Ryan for going above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.    Our food was great our service was borderline nonexistent. Never offered to refill beverages or take an additional drink order unless we waived someone down. Had to request after sitting for 11 minutes that someone come and take a drink order. Our server finally came over, took our drink order and we said we are also ready to order our food, and she stated that we would have to wait she was too busy. We also noted in our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday, and it was never recognized. Our boys play hockey at the ice den, and we go there often and sit at the bar where service is usually A+. To be honest doubt we will ever go back after this experience just to many other good options.

    Our food was not good. The calamari was over cooked and tepid. The hamburgers were mediocre, served with cold and hard French fries. The half chicken was barely a quarter of a chicken - smallest portion ever. Service was very slow. A disappointment for sure.
