   We went for dinner very early and quieter than usual due to the time. Food was fantastic and service was great!

   Made a birthday reservation for 12. The restaurant was really accommodating over the phone, making sure we could have tables that fit all of us. But once we arrived our table wasn’t ready until 20 minutes after the reservation time. We work in the restaurant industry, so we double checked with the bar if we could order there while waiting or if they’d like us to wait until we got our table. The bartender said he would transfer our bills to the table. But once sat, the server insisted we all get up to pay our bills at the bar before she served us. When other tables started ordering bottle service, an hour and a half after being sat, our server insisted we could only keep our table if we also ordered bottle service, drinks alone wouldn’t count. She told us we had to bill out and leave. There were many errors on the bills, which we totally understand as there was a lot of us, but the server became very upset when we let her know which items were meant for other bills, and wanted us to accept the errors and sort it between ourselves.

   Food was great, service was friendly, fast. Weird was only table in whole restaurant at 545-7ish on a Wednesday evening. Never ever had this experience. Would not want to do that again.

   Very disappointing. We were there a year ago. Restaurant was quite full, but service was quick and very attentive. Burger specials were very good, and the whole experience was good enough to make us want to return when we came back to Ottawa this August. This time, though the restaurant was largely empty, service was very slow in reaching our table. The burger specials took 3/4 hour to arrive, and were somewhat dry and mass cooked. Our table water was not refreshed, despite the restaurant being near empty. I had to stand up to get attention to deal with the bill. I doubt we will return.

   We sat outside on a quiet, shady side street. Ben promptly greeted us with menus and kept up with pleasant and efficient service. Burgers and tacos were yummy and reasonably priced. Well worth another visit.

    We sat around the corner from Elgin Street so it was both quiet and private. Our server Brad ... Ben! (this became a joke between us) was respectful yet warm and friendly, and great at his job. My friend and I shared a very generous platter of nachos, but also enjoyed earlier cocktails. We were on to another engagement or we would have enjoyed a meal as well. We will definitely return. Recommend to a friend? we did that evening and the next day!
