   Service was good. Steak was good. Bacon date goat cheese gnocchi was not good. It was like eating sweet soggy donuts. The chicken fried lobster was over cooked and too salty.

   The food was simply awful. Fried calamari was overly breaded with bad flavor. Portions were ridiculously gigantic. Salad dressing tasted terrible, couldn’t eat the salad. Prices were high too. The waitress tried her best though. Sort of goes with the hot (Cyrus) it is in. Stupidity laid out tiny room. I guess this is the best Topeka can do. 😩

   Had my birthday dinner with a friend at the weather room. The food was worth the price. Braden was our waiter, he was amazing the whole time. Cool vibes, modest and aesthetic.

   We loved Easter brunch last year for our family and made another reservation this year. To our disappointment, we were out in a banquet room instead of the restaurant. The food was a decent walk away. That makes it difficult for children.

   I brought my family to the Weather Room for Easter Brunch. We chose to sit in the ballroom area thinking they might have multiple buffet areas, but they didn't. The line for the food was long and the buffet was quite far away. The food was not as unique as the menu implied it would be. The buffet was not worthy of a $45 price tag. $10 maybe. We might return to the Weather Room for drinks, and maybe food on a special date night only. The ambiance is great, we do love that.

   Service was very slow, server may have been new. Food was good with lots of options. Specifically came for the creme brulee that was listed both online and the menu, only to be told they no longer serve it. Drinks were fantastic.

   Our food was great, but our server clearly wasn’t excited to be there, throwing around our food and check, and not paying attention to our table at all, and was just overall rude, didn’t smell great either, probably needed some deodorant

    We dine at the Weatherroom 3-4 times a year. It is upscale, and quiet. This is the 2nd time in the last 4-5 years that the food was not hot. The Mahi Mahi was maybe warm as was the Mushroom Risotto and asparagus. We recognized the Host from previous reservations and he seated us quickly, he said he has been there 2 years. The server, Braden was excellent. We did inform him about the temperature of the meal. Unfortunately no management came out to apologize, as the same thing occurred a couple years ago. When we entertain at home, we have a plate warmer that helps keep the food hot before serving to our guests. Most restaurants we frequent often tell us to be careful as the plate is hot. One other issue is the Old Fashioned glass had too much simple syrup and very little bourbon. The outside of the entire glass was sticky with the syrup they must have spilled. We went to "The Knox" and the "Salut Wine and Cocktail Lounge" Both served a better quality Old Fashioned at a lower price. Simply said, disappointed. The atmosphere is always pleasant, the staff is accommodating, the quality of the food is hit or miss.
