   The low ceilings made it very noisy in there and as a person with hearing aids, I found it extremely difficult to hear anyone speaking on my table. The food was tasty but I do not believe it represented value for money. I had 3 very tiny roast potatoes that were soft (not crispy) and over cooked, almost black. Half a carot whole, 2 teaspoons of carot puree. Cabbage, cauliflower AND broccoli chesse. I do not like broccoli or cabbage so had to leave them. The piece of chicken was also very small. It all came on the plate with the gavy already on. I prefer it when restaurants bring the veg and gravy separately so you can see what you are getting and I asked for that today. They obliged. The resault was that you can see you are not getting as much as you think. It was nicely cooked though. The service was very good.

   Vegan options were fab, the polenta roast was delicious! Staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

   Lovely food and really good service, except for when we were trying to pay for our bill. We had to go up to the bar in the end.

    Grabbed some quick lunch with my two children (3 and 5 years old). We all had a delicious roast which was served by great staff. Win win
