    We shared a delightful evening meal in this cost venue last Tuesday evening, and really enjoyed our "date" night out. Service, food and wine - all impeccable - lived the Blackjack Block 6 Shiraz from 2020 - beautifully balanced, smooth and a perfect match for our shared Scotch Fillet with pepper and cognac sauce, mustards and perfectly cooked vegetables! Having started with the fresh bread, and 2 taster of the Sydney oysters and the duck liver parfait, dessert had to be refused!

    Food and cocktails were absolutely outstanding! We have dined in Melbourne's finest and the food, wine and cocktails were worth a trip.to Bendigo just to eat at Woodhousr. Superb!

    We had a lovely evening and experienced some excellent flavours. The menu was amazing, catering to everyone, and oh how those dishes flowed through from the kitchen with passion and love evident. My only criticism would be that it was rather loud as the venue, clearly a sort after hot spot, was packed.

    Beautiful winter ambience, lovely wines to select and a great menu. We didn't do the tasting menu but definitely will be back to try it! Seemed like great value. Would love to see iceberg lettuce replaced with a slightly nicer leafed salad option.

    A lunch this time around at The Woodhouse. Food was delicious - our group had the octopus skewers and zucchini flowers for starters, followed by steak, chimichurri & fries, wagyu cheeseburger and snapper for mains. There was room for dessert and we chose the churros and creme brulee. Service was excellent and the wines were great. This restaurant lives up to it's expectations every time.
