We visited for mothers day as I noticed decent reviews. It was very quiet when we arrived. Quick seating and ordered drinks. The soda system was not working so we had to settle for tea and water. We stared off with the bread basket and for the price we were expecting fresh bread. The bread was hard and had texture of it had been sitting out…..extremely dissatisfied seeing the price we paid. In addition we ordered the wings which were outstanding. At this point we still had not had any refills from our drinks and they were visibly empty for some time and little interaction from the server. The steaks and pork chop had very little seasoning but the burger was well seasoned and had exceptional taste. For what we paid we did not get the quality and value at this restaurant and with it being Mother’s Day and a way to celebrate was disappointed

I believe my poor experience at The Yard was due to how they planned to manage the crowds for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately I feel as though the buffet idea was a failure. The restaurant was completely empty and the engagement of staff came with low energy of disappointment which I believe it was because customers did not show up. Well, actually customers came but left due to the price of the buffet and what was offered. The buffet was $70 per adult and the food was not fresh. No one was there to manage the buffet area so some items were left uncovered, picked over and cold. Personally I feel as though that’s a lot of money for mediocre food. Overall the food tasted well but I wish the presentation was better and the food at least looked fresh even if it wasn’t. I wanted to leave but because it was Mother’s Day I feared going anywhere else because I didn’t have another option in mind and if I did, I’m sure the wait times would have been awful that late in the day. So if you plan on checking out The Yard, just call the restaurant first to see if they are offering a modified menu. I do believe that if they provided their normal day to day service, my experience would have been a lot better. At least I would hope…

It would have been nice to know when I set the reservation, it would be buffet only. Not only that, the price for said buffet was outrageous, in my opinion. So we had to go to some place completely different on the fly on Mother's day.

My reservation was at 11am for brunch and we were seated at 11:30. No body came to take a drink order I ended up going to the bar to get our drinks. On the plus side the buffet food was good even though I wanted to order from the menu. The service staff was nice but overwhelmed.

The service and food has declined significantly over the past few years. Mother’s Day brunch and had to approach the bar to find a server and ask to get coffee for the table. Server inattentive and no manager checking on tables. Omelette described as containing cheese and asparagus arrived plain with just eggs. Cooking staff and wait staff continuously approached what appeared to be the manager about concerns. Almost walked out before food arrived. Used to be a fun spot for brunch. Will not be back as this is second experience like this in a couple of years.

Staff very attentive, no delays in service, food made it to the table hot and for all 4 of us to enjoy at same time. The uniqueness of the structure made it a great experience—very historical. Food was excellent. Will return.

Extremely slow service, horrendous food. Our food came out 45 minutes after ordering, was cold and tasted like dog food. The table next to us was waiting for an hour and a half. The restaurant was turning people away even though they had empty tables. Do not come here.

Was excited to try this restaurant, made reservations before an 8pm comedy show at 5:45. We were seated at 5:45. However, we waited likely 20 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us, which we had to flag her down for that. We finally ordered drinks but then waited like another 20-25 minutes until they were brought to the table. We ordered appetizers (Bread basket, Wings, Muscles). The wait for the appetizers was very long also, at least 30 minutes, during this time we did not see our waitress once or we would have ordered more drinks as they were empty. When the appetizers were brought, we made sure to order as we knew we might not see the waitress again, we also ordered drinks. The bread and wings were good; however the muscles were awful, they tasted frozen. We waited patiently for our food and drinks, but when it got to be 7:40 with no sign of the food being delivered or even the drinks we ordered, I asked them to cancel our main courses. We weren't going to have time to eat and make our show. They did rush one of the burgers out, but it was undercooked. They removed the main course that was never delivered to the table from the bill but likely should have done more than that to make it right. I never felt like our server cared that we were there for dinner, we were an afterthought. Cant say we would be back.
