   Our meal at The York was exactly as we had hoped. The initial greeting was friendly and professional, our table was ready and the service was seamless. There was a good selection of local and interstate wine and beer. I would highly recommend The York.

   Always a great time had at The York! Great service, food, ambience. We had a party of 12 tonight and really enjoyed it!

   We were in the private dining room, due to other functions. It was great to be able to talk and enjoy the night amongst ourselves. The choice of music was an added bonus. Food was lovely and plenty. Service was fantastic. Thank you.

   The food was awful. Small portions of dried out fish, cold vegetables, stale bread. The drinks were very expensive. We sat outside and the flies were sticky. Basically a bad experience, we will definately not go again.

   The food was good—we loved it. However, my burger and my husband’s steak didn’t seem to be cooked to order. It felt like they had been sitting in the kitchen for too long and were only served when it was time for the mains. The service was also a bit too slow. I also suggest more options to be added in the mains.

    The owners have created an amazing vibe with great decor, happy and positive staff and delicious food. A sophisticated gem in the middle of regional Victoria. Perfect for couples or parties. The night we came, there was live music which got the crowd rocking.
