   The food was very good but $12 for a piece of chicken to be added to your salad is a little steep. It was very busy and noisy on this night.

   I have been going to Thomson's for many years. In all cases, they would validate my $35 parking for downstairs. Today, however, after a 2 hour strategy session with the team and paying for drinks, Maria the Manager would not validate the parking. I only drink tequila and had a couple during the meeting. I ordered one more to take to the event that was in Thomson's in the next room over. She said that she could not validate the pass because she could not confirm that I would not purchase drinks at the other event. I had already given away my free tickets that would be for wine/beer, because I do not drink either. If I was going to have another drink of tequila, I would have had to come back to the bar to purchase another one. That is also something that I have done at the InterGen events in the past without issue. She insisted that if I wanted it validated, I would need to leave right away and not attend the event. I said, fine. I was not going to pay an additional $35 for parking after spending premium $$ for premium beverages. At that time, I asked for the validation ticket. She then revealed that she could not give me a ticket because the machine was down. She needed my name so that I could exit the garage. Now, was that the truth!?! That the machine was down! Absolutely NO critical thinking! I am re-thinking my support for Thomson's. The Hyatt's service has gone down hill with the new owner. Maria should go!

   Very please with lunch this time. I appreciate the chef taking my last review seriously. I have been dining at Thomson kitchen with friend almost a few times each month during my lunch hour. So It is nice to have a hotel standard meal :) Thank you!

   Excellent food and service, pleasant ambience and comfortable seating. Great menu variety, all menu items well prepared. We’ll be returning.

   Our YYC 3 course meal at Thompson’s was fabulous ! Our meal was delicious, Cab Sav wine very good and excellent value and our server was attentive and lovely ! Our seating area was full and lively around 6:30 PM when we arrived ; however it soon emptied out and it was very quiet It would’ve been even nicer to have been sat in the formal Banquet area however we will definitely be back !

   The Sunday Brunch buffet is the best in Calgary. Lots of delicious options including shrimp, mussels, clams, smoked trout, breakfast sausages, French toast, roast beef, great salads and main course dishes. Great desserts too. The service is fantastic with wonderful, friendly staff who make you feel special. Don't waste your time and money elsewhere, this is the place to be.

    The lunch special was very good until these last 2 times. The main dish was warm only and yesterday the chicken breast was either overcook or it is leftover from the day before. Quite disappointing! I come almost 2 or 3 times a month during lunch and the lunch 3 course meal was ideal for the lunch hour meeting.
