   The food is often pretty good. It was mediocre and over seasoned last night. The service was just “good” - nothing great but no bad. It’s a wedding venue first and foremost at the property so a bunch of wedding guests had camped out in the bar - standing everywhere - so the atmosphere was loud and a lot like trying to eat dinner in the middle of a cocktail lounge with people standing everywhere. They really need a dedicated wedding space for that type of situation.

   The decor was beautiful, the service was good, the food was a big disappointment. We ordered steak, generally a good choice anywhere in Texas, but not here. The steak was not well seasoned and just tasted unprepared. Overall, it was too expensive for the food to be this mediocre. I would not recommend this restaurant or plan on returning.

   Had a 12:00 reservation and wasn’t seated till 12:30, food didn’t arrive till 1:00. I’m sure if I was late for my reservation they would quickly cancel it. Heard the same old “ sorry we’re short handed today”.

   Beautiful space. Very disappointing execution on the brunch menu - group of 5 and all entres lacked flavor except for the smash burger.

   Truly one of our favorite restaurants in the Hill Country. Food, service, and ambiance is over the top amazing. This is where we bring friends and family from out of town, and they’re always impressed.

   This was our third trip - first two were awesome. Service was spotty this trip - we had to ask multiple times for water glass refills, the bartender was overwhelmed with orders so drinks came slowly, etc. Disappointing for a restaurant this pretty and at these prices. On a brighter side, the Bourbonist cocktail might be my favorite mixed drink in a decade.

   We had an amazing meal and our server Grace was a pleasure from beginning to end! We ordered two of the chef’s specials and we were not disappointed!!!

    The entire staff was amazing. Desi at the front desk, always smiling and helpful. Laurel the manager in charge of the restaurant was so sweet and accommodating . She gets an A+ . All of the wait staff was wonderful. Shirley our first evening was wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful, Luke took such wonderful care of us, a great young man with a wonderful personality. Dinner our second night it was Halley & August who were so outstanding and marvelous. My husband and I had such wonderful time. We would and have recommended Camp Lucy to many people
