   Valentines night.... we had reservations at 7, and were on time, but had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated we waited another 30 minutes for appetizers and another 15 for entrees. The kitchen ran out of food and some of our food was served cold and had to be sent back. Yes, it was Valentines night but, even though the servers were gracious and apologetic, this was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a long time. Shame, since our other experiences here have always been positive.

   Went to Toast for Valentine[s Day. Easy to get a reservation. Food was very good and the wait staff was very attentive. All in all it was a very good experience.

   I have not tried their breakfast but their dinner, was not impressed. Got cold mashed potatoes with the worst tasting gravy I could not eat and I was charged for it.

   Our waitress was great, but our food was so so. Everybody at the table the grids in every bowl of grits was ice cold.

   Saw this restaurant list as a top 10 for Summerville. I really don’t know how they came up with that. We went at 8 on a Friday for dinner. Not very busy. Should have been a clue. Service was okay even though she forgot our corn bread (which were actually pre-packaged corn bread muffins), the chicken was pretty good but my meatloaf was really not very good. Had to pay extra for asparagus which was mostly tasteless. There plating is nonexistent. With all that being said the prices were on the high side for the quality. Oh and as for ambiance, there is none, unless you consider shabby and worn as good thing. We didn’t. Probably won’t be going back, which I can only gather is the reason for the lack of patrons.

   Update your google account, open table, social media, etc. I should not even be able to make a reservation for a day you are not open. I made a reservation for the 3rd and everywhere online said you were open but when I arrived, you were not. Thanks for wasting my time.

   Wife ordered green tomato bruschetta. 1. No green tomatoes. 2. No garlic, instead they used garlic salt. The menu specifically said GREEN TOMATOES and GARLIC. Wife ordered sweet tea glazed chicken, it was inedible. My food was great! I had the grilled meatloaf and salad with chicken. The biggest thing that will change the place is bleach. The place felt like there was just layers of dirt on the surfaces.
