Here at Toby Carvery Whitewebbs House, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly. Every spud is checked by hand and ruffled for extra crunch. All of our meat is slow-cooked and basted to succulent perfection. And our Yorkshires are freshly made in our kitchens and served crisp, fluffy and piping-hot to your plate.     After visiting a couple of other Toby Carverys my family and I (husband, son and mother-in-law) were very impressed. The ambiance was lovely, it reminded us of being in a country hotel restaurant. The food was hot but one complaint, the beef was very fatty and stringy. And we couldn’t really eat it. Everything else was good.

    I love this place - it is in the most wonderful setting - very beautiful and the food is very good, well done, and good value too. Most of my friends and I come here often, and have done for the last 5 years or so.

    Very disappointed on this occasion as very few staff as they had other functions on. Queued for 30 minutes and nobody serving at times. Food therefore was just warm. Waitress was very nice but the service let it down.
