   Dining at Tommy Bahamas in Newport is always wonderful. The food and service are absolutely, and consistently, superb. The food is fresh, delicious, and original. The ambiance is also lively and beautiful. We were disappointed though that there is a new corporate policy that they won't serve ordered food for dogs on the patio. This reverses a multi-decade policy which old-time customers like myself (more than 26 years) really enjoyed. Please reconsider!

   Tommy Bahama Newport Beach is one of our very favorite restaurants! Dining there last evening was another wonderful time! Food was delicious, service impeccable & atmosphere very cozy. We were seated in a smaller room with tables nicely separated, so even though others were seated around us, it still seemed intimate and private. Parmesan Crusted Sanibel Chicken & the Filet Mignon Salad were our entrees & were yummy. Had a very enjoyable evening!

   My wife and I each had their steak salad, the Wedge and the Filet salads. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife ate every oz of the steak and remarked,” every piece was perfectly cooked”. We started with the lobster spring rolls which were tasty.

   We were running late for our reservation and notified them. They kindly rescheduled our time to accommodate us. When we finally arrived, they were able to seat us within minutes. I informed the waiter that we had another engagement and needed to eat quickly and leave. This waiter brought our order and check quickly which enabled us to make our engagement on time. We really appreciate everyone that accommodated us . And our entrees were delicious too. Thanks for making sure our evening went well.

   Had burger and Cuban sandwich. Seasonal Pear cocktail was delicious, as was the fantastic Mai Tai. Christian was our server and very nice. We enjoyed our meal.

    Both my husband and I ordered burgers….both meals were somewhat warm, definitely not hot. Disappointing.
