Tootles & French is a Wine Bar & Bistro located in the heart of Astoria, by Astorians for Astorians. In addition to 20 wines by the glass and over 100 by the bottle, our beverage selection includes wine-infused cocktails, sangrias, and specialty spirits. Our food pairings feature curated charcuterie boards, small plates, as well as full sized entrees and house-made gelato. Serving a new menu seasonally, we are proud of our Chef Jose Luis' unique take on American and French dishes with a Mexican influence and many more surprises. We have private lounge backspace to host any party or gatherings for up to 35 people!

Service was outstanding, and the food almost as good. Had the shrimp appetizer (delicious), and the fried mozzarella was crunchy and chewy. Although my chopped cheese experience is usually from the bodega (iykuk), I enjoyed their upscale version of the sandwich. My son had the steak (so I also had the steak), and would definitely have it again. The menu is interesting, lots to look forward to…the carrot sandwich, and the roast chicken look appetizing. Will be back!

Drinks were amazing! Place is cute- how it was billed the best new restaurant is surprising to me- it was ok! Nothing special or innovative on the menu. Food was ok.

I made a reservation after seeing the restaurant was voted as ‘Best New Restaurant in the Country’ They deserve that title. The food was delicious. The service was also amazing. I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

Highly recommend ordering a flight of 3 Negronis instead of ordering 1 because you'll have the opportunity to try multiple and they're all worth ordering. Staff were incredibly friendly. I have a tree nut allergy and our server mentioned that they're a tree nut free kitchen/menu, so that was fantastic.

Excellent service and drinks! The food could be improved though. We were there for the NYE prix fixe menu and the pork belly was pretty tasteless.

Great find. Very unexpected to find such an excellent restaurant in Astoria. the menu is creative and beautifully executed. the service is gracious, and the wine list is adventurous and intriguing. A real 'gem'. Looking forward to returning.

The bone marrow though delicious was just a bone. Barely contained half a teaspoon of marrow.
