   Arrived at our scheduled time and we were seated right away. We were seated inside just before the upper deck and the view was amazing. We started with wings that were incredible. Then I had the elk burger and my fiancé had the smash burger and we loved every bit of it. The sweet tea was also amazing. We will be bringing the entire family back on a clear sunny day.

   Recommend dining here! My husband and I ate here for the second year in a row for Valentine’s Day. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, I got the steak frites and he got the filet. Both were excellent and cooked perfectly. We ended with the skillet chocolate chip cookie and ice cream.

   The restaurant is beautiful located up on a mountain. The service staff was very polite and offered great service. The cocktails were a little lack luster. My second cocktail an apple martini was tough to drink. Possible not mixed correctly. I ordered a Ribey marinated in pineapple. It was presented covered in char. Half the ribey was inedible becuase of the fat content present and there was no indication of a pineapple marinade flavor? My steak was also over cooked. Others at the table ordered the elk burgers saying the burger was dry. One burger was ordered to be cooked medium. The food was served by kitchen staff and when we asked which was cooked medium she shrugged and left. The burgers was cut into and they both looked cooked well done…when we asked our server about one burger being cooked medium she said she was sorry and she repeated that it was ordered to be cooked medium…she said sorry again and never offered to fix the situation with a correctly cooked burger as ordered. They only serve their craft beer they make there. It would be nice to have more choices. We ordered a shrimp peach appetizer that was very good. The desserts were also good. Overall for 2 people with 1 small salad, 2 cocktails and 2 entrees and a dessert the final ticket was $110 with a $20 tip. Prices like that should have better kitchen staff and bar staff who will prepare the cocktails and food properly and take more effort to make sure the food is delivered properly. Overall we had a good time despite these small small details.

   We started with the artichoke spinach bread bowl, I had the salmon and my husband had the cod fish and chips. It was all delicious. All cooked perfectly, seasoned just right & good portion sizes. The view was beautiful. We got to see the igloos & will try to book one of those next time! This is a great little road trip from Huntsville & a hidden gem! The servers were also very friendly & stopped frequently to help customers get photos.

   We ate in the igloos and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was great and very attentive even with the rain.

   The view is always great. The food is a bit hit and miss. Nothing is really bad, but many entrees are meh. Mahi mahi is usually good, as are the burgers.

   We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server, Sam, was awesome. When she brought our food to the table she noticed the vegetables were over cooked without me saying anything. She quickly brought out replacements. I had the 10oz prime rib, it was probably 4 oz of inedible fat, but what was meat was very tender and delicious. We are looking forward to going back for lunch so we can enjoy the view from the patio.
