Located in the centre of Ruislip, just on the edges of London, is the Toresano Spanish restaurant, one of the most authentic of its type. Top rated by diners, Toresano is named after the Spanish village of Toro, birthplace of owner Isidro Cenizo – a true Toresano bringing a flavour of home to his adopted city. With a career spanning stints at Harry’s Bar and Annabel’s, Cenizo has gathered up all the experience he needs to make a great success of Toresano, a tribute to the cuisine perhaps closest to his heart, all with the help of head chef Victor Claro. Claro has created an extensive menu of delicious tapas as well as elegantly put together main courses and modern and traditional desserts, all of which can be complemented by the perfect wine from the Toresano list which covers some 49 hand picked bodegas, including bottles direct from Toro itself – this being one of the only UK stockists of Toro wine.

    Loved the food and service. A little pricey but very good quality. It was unusually quiet on the night I was last there. We were the last to leave & never felt hurried.

    We had a very enjoyable meal here - the food was spot on and so authentic. We opted for the tapas and were so full up that we didn’t order mains! Next time we will be however! The staff were very attentive and the manager even took the time to sit down with us and ask us a little about ourselves and how we found the food etc. This is a hidden gem in Ruislip and we will 100% be back!

    This restaurant is pricey, food general nice, although my meat was a bit dry in places, served frozen vegetables, not a good idea for the price you pay, Gordon Ramsey would not be inamoured,,, stick to the tapas menu , nice

    Honestly, was rather disappointed after hearing such great things. Food was very bland, my scallop tapas was burnt and my meatballs were only warm, the bread didn’t seem very fresh and there was no atmosphere.

    We booked a table for 2 and they gave us a table for 4 which was great as we ordered tapas. The portions weren’t big apart from potatoes and chicken. We ordered 6 bowls and felt that it was not enough for two people. Overall nice small restaurant and would recomend to a friend.

    Our first visit to this restaurant was fantastic.. A little short on ambience as we were the only customers at lunch time, but the experience was very enjoyable and we will definitely be back. The food and service were excellent.

    Always excellent. Been there a few times now and consistent to say the least. The manager is very friendly and accommodating and there isn't a bad dish on the menu. The flavors are fresh and authentic. highly recommend; local gem.
