We had a lovely relaxing dinner after a long day of traveling. Food was very good and the coffee cart was a very unique experience.

bad service the flavors were not there We asked for a beer and they didn't have it. The waiter did not speak English very well and it was very difficult to understand him.

Outstanding food and service. The Fairmount Hotel is a bit hard to find even for a native Chicagoan. Apparently a lot of diners use Ubers but there's valet parking once you find the entrance. The place is elegant, presentation is professional, food superb. So don't panic driving through the multiple levels of Columbus Drive when all the buildings look alike!

This new restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel gives off a corporate vibe: impersonal, non-local. The menu was pan-American, but in reality more electic even than that. The kitchen is open and in the dining room, which I liked. Very impressed by watching these people work! The food was very good, very fresh and nutritious. You'll eat well here. But the presentation was awkward -- the plating was just weird -- and there seem to be some kinks in operation. For instance, we were brought our food twice. Also, there was an exceptionally long wait for dessert. Finally, I just hated the music: droning dance floor-type music. Something much more tasteful is in order.

The food was excellent, the menu was varied. The service was impossible, there either too few servers or the area they covered was too large. We’ll go back but only to sit at the bar where hopefully the service would be better.

Was looking forward to dining at this new restaurant but unfortunately our server damaged the quality of our experience. While the restaurant ambiance and food and cocktails were very great we spent 4+ hours there due to our inattentive server. What matters worse is that it seemed very intentional and not due to lack of awareness. Very unacceptable to have someone like this on their team.

Food was super fresh and outstanding! Appetizers were super tasty especially the guac and plantain chips. The branzino is a must try! Drinks were also great. Great spot for a date
