   Great 1st experience! From the squash blooms, the tagliatelle with truffle, the 16oz NY strip…and Ofcouse the beautiful 2019 SASSICAIA. Our server, Dennis - was professional! Attentive and friendly. Thank you to front of house and especially back of house who made this first time one of many to come! 🍷

   We've been here before (once) and returned because everything was great. Not this time. I would not say it was bad but just not what we expected for a high end restaurant. It started with the hosts. We came in 15 mins before our reservation, checked in and wnet to the bar. (right in front of the desk. They said they would seat us soon. 25 mins later I checked in and they said they could seat us now. What I didn't see was a text from them saying the table was ready. They should have taken 2 steps and told us. To much tech in some of these restaurants and they should focus on customer service.

   Hanger steak was very tough. Seating against a pole, too close to the table. $37 for pasta with Parmesan cheese sauce? Server was good, but twice we had to flag someone down to get silverware for the main dish’s and again for desert.

   It’s not often we dine out and the restaurant wows us in all categories, but Toscana Chop House is the exception. This restaurant is amazing. Upon entering the building, we were immediately in awe of the architectural design of what was once a bank. From the minute we sat down at our table to the moment we left the restaurant, we experienced an absolutely outstanding dining experience. This restaurant has the ‘wow’ factor and from the interior design, food selection, and vibe this restaurant generated, it goes without question this restaurant will not disappoint if you plan a visit. A special shout out to our server, Dennis, who provided us with excellent customer service and made us feel like a valued guest. Thank you Toscana Chop House, we will be back!

   What a great little gem in the heart of Portsmouth! The atmosphere is elegant and quaint. The food was spectacular, as we got a little bit of everything - from the appetizers to the entrees. I had one of the best filets I have tasted in a long time and the lobster ravioli was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I will definitely eat here again, should I visit Portsmouth in the future.

   This has been consistently the best restaurant the last four years we have visited our daughter at UNH and gone out to dinner in Portsmouth. Everything is fantastic- the food, service and ambiance.

   Steaks are amazing and other options were top notch as well, very fresh and high quality ingredients. We went during UNH graduation weekend so it was crowded and very loud. We had to wait longer even though we had a reservation but hostess kept us informed of wait time. Service was very good, server was knowledgeable of food/menu items. Very pricey so not a great value but overall a very nice meal for a special occasion.

    Amazing food. I had one of the best NY Strip steaks I've had in a long time. My wife had Tagliatelle pasta and raved. The restaurant was very noisy, although not packed. The background music was very loud. Service was cordial, although not snappy.
